the

traditional

sugar
commonly

natives
prior

the

the
Spaniards,
and
is
presently
one
of
its
kind
in

MASCOBADO
sugar,
a
high
quality
organic
whole
sugar
preferred
by
consumers
for
its
unique
flavor
color
and
taste,
is
a
Philippine
export
to
Japan,
Switzerland,
Germany,
and
other
counries
in
Europe.
The
production
procedure
is
inspected
yearly
and
undergoes
control
procedure
from
the
Institute
of
Marketecology
of
Sulgen,
Switzerland.
The
farms
from
which
the
sugarcane
are
taken
are
certified
by
Naturlamd
e.v.,
the
certifier
of
organic
products,
based
in

The
first
and
the
only
Ostrich
Farm
in
the
entire
Negros
Island
can
be
found
in
Barangay
Caridad,
Bago
City and
is
owned
and
managed
by
Dr.
Arnold
Sison,
a
veterinarian
by
profession.
Presently,
there
are
six
ostrich
being
raised
in
the
farm,
two
of
which
are
males
and
the
rest
females.
As
intended,
the
ostrich
will
be
raised for
breeding
and
reproduction,
in
view
of
the
expensive
cost
of
its
meat
at
more
or
less
seven
hundred
pesos
per
kilo

ebergy
exploration
undertaken

PNOC-EDC
at
Barangay
Malium,
Bago
City
is
expected
to
be
in
commision
on
July
2004.
It
is
expected
to
light
more
than
800,000.00

contribution
of
a

a
savings
in
the
amount
of
$15
million/year
of
operation
and
will
avoid
a
carbon
dioxide
emission
totaling

annualy.

host

educational
trips
and
other
tours
owing

scientific
utilization

natural
gas
